Eligibility Details:

Degree (Graduation) in any degree in any discipline or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

Computer Literacy:

Candidates must have Cenificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in High School/College/Institute. It is preferable for candidates to be fluent in the official language of the state/UT for which they wish to apply (candidates should know how to read, write, and speak the official language of the state/UT). (Some questions may be asked during the interview to determine the candidate's familiarity with the State/Official UT's Language.) Ex-servicemen who do not meet the above civil examination requirements should be matriculated. Ex-servicemen who have obtained the Army Special Certificate of Education or a corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force after serving in the Union Armed Forces for at least 15 years. Minimum age: 20 years Maximum age: 28 years.

Selection Process:

Only those candidates who are declared qualified in the pre-examination will be able to participate in the main examination, i.e. those candidates who pass the common written pre-exam and main exam will be called for a personal interview in each state with an IBPS representative. The total number of marks allotted for the interview is 100. The minimum qualifying marks for the interview will be 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). A candidate must pass both the CWE and the interview and have a high enough merit score to be considered for the subsequent provisional allotment process.

Written Test Pattern:

“Clerk Exam Pattern” OR Clerical Post Exam Pattern. IBPS Clerks Exam has two levels: CWE and Interview. CWE contains 200 marks with 200 Questions. Clerk Papers cover five subjects, each worth 40 points and containing 40 questions. Negative marking for every wrong answer 0.25 applicable.
